Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is the internationally recognised benchmark adopted by the European Accessibility Act, the U.S. ADA, and most national accessibility laws. We design, build and test our public website with this target in mind.

Accessibility is not a one-time project for us. Every new feature, blog post, and language variant is checked before publication, and we re-audit the full site at least twice a year.

2. What we have implemented

• Keyboard navigation — all menus, forms, and interactive elements can be reached and operated with the Tab, Enter, and arrow keys. Focus rings are visible and meet the 3:1 contrast ratio.
• Semantic HTML — we use proper heading levels (<h1> → <h6>), landmarks (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>), and ARIA labels where the visual design needs them.
• Colour contrast — body text and key UI controls meet at least 4.5:1 contrast against their background. We avoid relying on colour alone to convey meaning.
• Resizable text — content remains readable and the layout does not break when the browser is zoomed to 200%.
• Image alt text — meaningful images carry descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images use empty alt so screen readers skip them.
• Form labelling — every input is associated with a visible <label>, and error messages are announced to assistive technology.
• Trilingual support — Vietnamese, English, and Traditional Chinese are each declared with the correct lang attribute and hreflang links, so screen readers switch voices correctly when navigating between language variants.
• Skip-to-content link — the first focusable element on every page jumps past the navigation directly to the main content.

3. Known limitations

We are honest about what is not yet perfect. As of this revision (17 July 2026):

• Some legacy PDFs and downloadable manuals in our resource library were authored before our accessibility programme began. We are converting them to tagged HTML or providing accessible alternatives on request. If a specific document blocks you, write to us and we will prioritise it.
• Third-party embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo) may lack accurate captions for a small number of older recordings. We add captions to new uploads and retroactively caption popular older content.
• The EZTalking AI speaking assessment relies on a microphone and may be difficult for users with certain speech patterns. The product team is researching a text-input fallback for the writing module.
• Some animations and transitions are present for visual feedback. We honour the prefers-reduced-motion media query, so users who set this in their operating system will see a calmer interface automatically.

4. How to give feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this site or in our app, please tell us. We treat every report as a bug and aim to fix or document a workaround within 10 business days.

5. Enforcement and complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate to a national enforcement body. In Vietnam, the responsible authority is the Ministry of Information and Communications. In the European Union, please contact the supervisory authority in your country. We will cooperate fully with any investigation and provide documentation of our conformance efforts on request.

6. Technical specifications

This website is built with static HTML, CSS, and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. It does not depend on a JavaScript framework to deliver content, so screen readers and search engines can read the page structure even if scripting is disabled. We test with the latest two stable versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, plus iOS Safari and Chrome for Android.
